Cards anyone?

I made a matching card for the gift from yesterday. It's made of an old blank card, the wrapping paper I used, and clear sticker words. Simple yet fun! On the inside it says "...whatever you do have a very happy birthday"

It's the simple things...

A little left over satin ribbon and a brown bag with a little glue makes a lovely gift bag...

A little head?

Got this in to mail today, forgot I ordered one. Don't you just love surprise packages? Anyway, I got her to display hats for photos. I think she needs a paint job. What shall I name her?

Adorable dress

Searching through projects I came across this one ~

Unveiling memories...

Goodbye Sweet Dragon...

I came across this guy in my mess last weekend. I painted him sometime in high school (dare I say almost 20 years ago?).
It was time to say good bye, he'd suffered a hip injury sometime in college and had to have a complete replacement which didn't heal too well and was never repainted. But before he left to a better place I took some pictures to remember him.

This weekend...

(before new hem)

What did you do craft-wise this weekend?
I hemmed a raincoat that has needed mending for probably 10 years now. It also was missing a button and since I didn't have one of the same I moved the top button down and replaced it with a simular vintage button I had in my collection. I'm happy to actually be able to wear it again. The forcast is rain you know!!!
Also, I mended a leather jacket for a friend, it was lost in my horrable mess until I found it last weekend! Now I just have to give it back. ;)

Yes I'm back, back again....

nah nah nah nah... ok I'm no Eminem but I'm back! Here to share my creativeness with the world (or at least the 4 people who might actually read this blog).

This weekend I spent the entire time gutting my office/craftroom, organizing, labling and putting back the necessities. A truck load went to good will, bags of trach went to the curb and the barbies, prom and wedding dresses went to storage.

I'm ready to create again! See you soon!
